Turkey hopes to open Hagia Sophia’s underground structures to public

Turkish authorities hope to open parts of the underground structures beneath Istanbul’s Hagia Sophia to the public, with Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy describing them as “just as interesting as its superstructure.”
