Wildfires rage in Peloponnese, Crete amid high risk warning

Firefighters on Monday battled wildfires in the southern Peloponnese region and on the island of Crete, most of which has been designated at a major risk of fire together with islands in the central Aegean Sea, while civil protection authorities issued one village evacuation order and warned more might be needed.
