Lesvos farmers protest slaughterhouse closures, seek compensation

Livestock farmers on the eastern Aegean island of Lesvos staged a protest outside the North Aegean regional government headquarters on Sunday, demanding the reopening of slaughterhouses and compensation for losses caused by an outbreak of sheep and goat pox.
