EU rejects Turkish-Libyan maritime agreement as ‘invalid and void’

The European Union has strongly criticized the eastern Libyan parliament’s ratification on Tuesday of Libya’s maritime memorandum with Turkey, reiterating that the agreement violates the sovereign rights of third countries and does not comply with the Law of the Sea.
