Kimberly Guilfoyle has resigned as the United States ambassador to Greece, with the White House confirming it received her formal resignation Tuesday afternoon, according to CNN. A White House official confirmed the resignation but offered no additional details about the circumstances surrounding her departure or what comes next for the position. Guilfoyle, the former Fox News host and fiancée of Donald Trump Jr., was appointed to the ambassadorial role earlier in the Trump administration. Her time in Athens drew significant attention given her high profile and close ties to the Trump family. No successor has been named. The US embassy in Athens will now operate without a confirmed ambassador until a replacement is nominated and confirmed. #Greece #USGreece #KimberlyGuilfoyle
