A leaked 39-minute audio recording published on X has brought fresh unverified allegations against Kimberly Guilfoyle, the U.S. ambassador to Greece, involving claims of drug use, foreign cash, and potential ties to adversarial governments, all of which Guilfoyle has not publicly addressed.
The allegations were made by Jonathan Constantine, president of Republicans Overseas in Greece, during a conversation with Eric Deters, an American businessman and former attorney who has reportedly filed legal action against Guilfoyle over alleged breach of contract and defamation. Deters posted the full recording publicly. None of the claims have been independently verified, and a recording alone does not establish that the alleged conduct occurred.
According to Constantine's unverified account, Guilfoyle allegedly used cocaine regularly while in Athens and received suitcases of cash from businesspeople described as having connections to Iran and China. He also alleged she forwarded emails belonging to Greek Republicans to Chinese addresses and pursued business deals with companies reportedly linked to Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Constantine further claimed Guilfoyle relied on a lobbyist as an informal chief of staff, allegedly without Donald Trump's knowledge, and that her alleged activities were intended to undermine the Trump family rather than support it. He said he compiled a dossier of alleged financial transaction evidence and submitted it to U.S. authorities. It is not known whether any official investigation has been opened.
The source of the recording is Deters himself, who has a personal legal dispute with Guilfoyle, meaning both men making or amplifying these claims have stated or implied grievances against her. No corroborating documentation has been made public, and no law enforcement agency has confirmed receiving or acting on any complaint.
